Who Is Soul Creator?

My name is Jason Alexander.  I was a Level Designer at Terminal Reality for 8 years, until, well, that company closed down, and I now work at Treyarch in Santa Monica. I was a Computer Science major at the University of Texas at Arlington, where I graduated from in August 2005 (I started at Terminal Reality just a couple weeks after graduation).  I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas (Oak Cliff...that's my hood. Hah.) and currently reside in Santa Monica, CA.  I'm 6'4", so I can let everyone know immediately when it rains.  I like writing rhymes, listening to and making music, watching movies, playing and making video games, programming, spending time with my crazy nieces and nephews, and other assorted things. 

Why Soul Creator?

About 15 years ago, for some odd reason, I really got into writing rhymes. Lot of those works were terrible, but I didn't care; they were my own terrible works.  Anyhoo, I needed a pseudonym.  All the cool kids were doing it.  I really liked the idea of being "soulful", in the sense of putting emotion into stuff I do, and revealing a piece of my personality with every rhyme.  Soulman wasn't too catchy, and Soulman J was just downright nutty.  Boom, "soul creator" popped into my head.  Soul creator, because of the whole pretentious soul definition I just mentioned, and sole creator, because I'm a bit of an introvert, and all my rhymes are written while I'm chilling by myself. So, a catchy name with a double meaning; what's better than that?
